A participatory process is a sequence of participatory activities (e.g. first filling out a survey, then making proposals, discussing them in face-to-face or virtual meetings, and finally prioritizing them) with the aim of defining and making a decision on a specific topic.
Examples of participatory processes are: a process of electing committee members (where candidatures are first presented, then debated and finally a candidacy is chosen), participatory budgets (where proposals are made, valued economically and voted on with the money available), a strategic planning process, the collaborative drafting of a regulation or norm, the design of an urban space or the production of a public policy plan.
Volunteering Fund 2027: you decide
Public vote on funding projects
About this process
The ministry is awarding 200,000 euros to projects that strengthen volunteering. You help decide which projects are funded.
Through the Volunteering Fund, the ministry supports projects that make volunteering easier, safer and more diverse. Associations and initiatives have submitted projects, which the ministry has checked for eligibility.
Now it is your turn: choose the projects that matter most to you until the budget is allocated. The projects with the most votes will be funded.
This is a sample process on the Decidim demo platform. The ministry and projects are fictional.
